ブログのエントリや2chのスレとは違い、忙しい時に流し読みするという選択肢が取れないので、動画を中心としたコミュニティは必然的にある程度以上暇のある層が固まる事になる。

結果、コミュニティが固定化し、スラングによるコミュニケーションが増加。

中心コンテンツたる動画がそのコミュニケーションの影響を受けるので、動画自体が内輪向けになっていく。

ますます新参者に対する敷居が高くなっていき、廃れゆく。
